Picture Leagues is work made up of eight albums, loosely connected to each other by comparable principles of composition. Each album contains a series of pictures sourced from an archive of 25,000 digital photographs produced to date. These photographs have been taken while travelling, and they show landscapes and architecture in overviews and details. The majority of the photographs have been constructed as panoramas. Each sheet of an album is composed from at least two and up to sixteen photographs. The layout and proportions of the sheets within an album have been defined in advance and provide its frame. The individual sheets of an album are made up of varied numbers of pictures, which may refer to the place in which they were taken while denying any textual connections between images and asserting their independence.
